We want you to feel confident trying MingYi. If a reading isn't right for you, here's how refunds work.
1. The 4-Hour Window
Every paid reading comes with a 4-hour review window from the time of purchase. During this window:
- Your reading has not yet entered our practitioners' queue.
- You can request a full refund with no questions asked.
- The full amount is returned via your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
2. After the 4-Hour Window
Once your reading has been assigned to a practitioner and analysis has begun, the 4-hour window closes. After that:
- Refunds are available only for service issues — late delivery (more than 72 hours past promised ETA), incorrect birth data acknowledged by us, or practitioner error.
- Service-issue refunds are issued as store credit by default, or as a full refund to your original payment method at our discretion.
- For subscription services (Plus, Pro), see Section 4.

4. Subscription Cancellations
4.1 Cancel any time
You can cancel your Plus or Pro subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.
4.2 Within 7 days of a charge
If you cancel within 7 days of a renewal charge and have not used any included readings, you may request a pro-rata refund for that billing period.
4.3 After 7 days
No refund for the current billing period, but you keep access until it ends.
5. How to Request a Refund
Three ways:
- From your account page — click the order and "Request refund".
- Email billing@mingyi.com with your order ID.
- Use our Contact page.
6. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, you may appeal within 14 days by emailing billing@mingyi.com. We respond within 7 business days. EU consumers also have the right to use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
